Posting photos of promotion booths isn’t marketing
Hi Friend,
I hope your week is going well! It feels like the winter blues are finally lifting, and the possibilities of summer are becoming more palpable with each passing day.
We’ve been expanding the newsletter distribution side of our business and have received great feedback from our clients.
Many of the providers we work with have upwards of 50 carers and hundreds of HCP clients.
They’ve expressed that it’s challenging to contact everyone with important business, compliance updates, and to receive relevant feedback. Unfortunately, even those who do attempt this often struggle to do it effectively.
Recognising this, we created a tangible tool that:
• Allows you to gather feedback directly from carers, with results sent back to you in the form of graphs and Excel spreadsheets.
• Keeps clients and caregivers informed about business developments, industry updates, and employee recognition.
• Provides a streamlined communication tool that can be used in audits to demonstrate your commitment to actively seeking feedback from caregivers and clients.
• Distributes policies for carers to review.
• Facilitates collaborations with local businesses to enhance local area marketing.
All of this is trackable, allowing you to see what people are most interested in.
The benefits go on, but at the bottom line, these newsletters are an incredible addition to your business.
We often pair this service with our social media management package, as they complement each other perfectly by allowing you to recycle information and convert it into compelling content.
If you are interested in checking out whether your business would benefit from this let me know!
3 AGED CARE MARKETING TIPS OF THE WEEK:
Mailchimp is a fantastic tool for keeping potential clients and their families connected to your aged care services.
It allows you to send personalised emails directly to those who have shown interest in your care options. This is especially important during those critical weeks when families are first exploring care options and considering what’s best for their loved ones.
With Mailchimp, you can stay gently in their minds, providing valuable information that reassures them of your expertise and care. It ensures they don’t forget about you and helps position your service as a trusted authority in aged care.
Taking photos of aged care booths at the local supermarket isn’t marketing.
We often see providers snapping photos of their booths and uploading them to social media, but I can’t stress enough how this isn’t effective marketing—especially not social media marketing.
People following your business aren’t interested in seeing your booth at a supermarket. It’s like taking a picture of a brochure, uploading it online, and then printing it on another brochure—it just doesn’t make sense.
Here’s what people really want to see:
• Photos of your clients thriving
• Photos and videos of your caregivers engaging with clients or participating in training
• Behind-the-scenes moments of your office staff
• Testimonials from those who have experienced your services
By focusing on this content, I guarantee you’ll start seeing better results.

SOMETHING I HAVE LEARNT THIS WEEK
Our sister agency recently took on a new client in the natural health space, and we were fortunate enough to experience their full range of services.
One service that truly stood out to me was the Reiki session, which is essentially energy healing. I can’t recommend this service enough if you’re holding onto emotions or feelings that no longer serve you.
Since Louis and I had our session, not only has my business been running more smoothly, but other aspects of my life also seem to be falling into place. Whether or not there’s tangible evidence, I’ve definitely felt a positive shift since then, and I’m booked in for another session tonight.
Anyway, that's all from me this week.
Appreciate you always,
Olivia
PS My sister still hasn’t had her baby - 3 days overdue and counting! Fingers and toes crossed I’ll be able to say I’m an aunt by the next time you read this email.
PPS this email was made with love, not AI. <3
