G2G: Check Out Our Price List

Why is no one transparent with pricing?

Hi Friend,

I hope everyone is keeping well with the flu season entering into full swing.

This week we have been reflecting on the digital marketing industry & how frustrating it is that no one EVER speaks about their prices.

You have to go through a lengthy sales pitch…

get a 20 page proposal…

spend hours going back and forth…

When really all you want to know is:

  1. How much it’s going to cost

  2. The results the agency can deliver

  3. Who they have worked with previously

As business owners ourselves we know that when we work with businesses the first thing we want to understand is their price.

So it left us thinking…

Why are we not being transparent ourselves?

We didn’t have an answer other than the fact that we were following the industry norm.

So…

With transparency, we hope to build trust.

We don’t need to sell you on the value we bring.

We’re confident in our specialised services and their results.

That’s why we have decided to provide clear, upfront pricing right away.

No lengthy proposals

Just the details you need.

3 AGED CARE MARKETING TIPS OF THE WEEK

It’s time to start automating your business

Aged Care businesses have such a unique opportunity to excel in lead generation as the competition is so low. Barely any aged care providers have any lead generation funnels set up. If a client is in their consideration phase, comparing you against other providers in your area and you’re the only one that is nurturing them through lead generation tools - the chances are so much higher that they will engage with you purely because you haven’t let them forget you. (reach out if you’re interested in setting up this tool)

Follower count = not important

In aged care your main focus when utilsing social media in your marketing mix should be building a community. A place where your clients, their families, caregivers and the local community want to interact and participate in what you’re posting. It’s about framing your business as a pillar in the community. Post about your clients and the incredible things they have done or a photo of your caregiver and client at a local cafe and tag the business. By doing this you’ll indirectly be promoting your business and people will naturally want to be a part of your community.

My aged care NEEDS to be optimised

If you’ve been here for a while you’ll know that I harp on about ensuring you’re utilising My Aged Care to its full capacity. Your summary section should display all of your individual offices' unique selling points. So many accounts we analyse simply put that they provide personal assistance, companionship services ect. This is unnecessary as they already know this. You need to be describing what makes you special. If your caregiving team can speak upwards of 10 languages, this is important for someone looking for services with a diverse cultural background.

THINGS I HAVE LEARNT THIS WEEK

Louis and I were fantasising about visiting Japan so we were looking at flights.

If you book plane tickets for your holiday that leave that day it is exceptionally cheap.

So why does no one do it?

It got me thinking about why…

Humans like to be organised.

But also, I think that the anticipation of a holiday is somewhat better than the holiday itself.

Hear me out…

When you get to the airport the anticipation is palpable, you arrive, you relax, you have a few cocktails next to the pool and then a couple of days pass and you begin talking about how you’re excited to plan the next trip.

You’re still on the holiday you were looking forward to but you’re already talking about your next holiday.

This is because we are wired to love the idea of things rather than the thing.

The idea of getting a new car is super epic, then you get the car and it’s really cool for 3 days and then it’s normal again.

So what can we take from this?

Enjoy the process because once you get to X you will be dreaming about the next step.

Anyways, that's all from me this week.

Appreciate you always,

Olivia

PS Louis and I thoroughly enjoyed the Yarra Valley for our anniversary! If you haven’t already you need to try out the cafe called the Cheese Monger Sophie in Healesville - it will change your life. https://www.cheesemongersophie.com.au/

PPS this email was made with love, not AI. <3
